Job summary

Counties Manukau Health is seeking a physiotherapist to coordinate student placements and education for the Physiotherapy service. The role focuses on planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of access to student learning opportunities and clinical supervision.

You will help develop interprofessional learning and contribute to entry-to-practice programmes across Allied Health. NZ Registered physiotherapist with strong teaching and collaboration skills is required.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered with Physiotherapy Board with current practising certificate
• Minimum of 4 years clinical experience in a range of clinical settings
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of physiotherapy clinical supervision
• Highly developed communication skills and cultural awareness
• Ability to work co-operatively with a wide range of people
• Post Graduate Clinical teaching qualification
• Familiarity with the Physiotherapy curriculum
• Knowledge of interprofessional education
• Completion of Supervision/preceptorship training

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and continuously improve student placement and education for Physiotherapy.
• Ensure access to education and supervision for students.
• Support interprofessional learning opportunities for students.
• Contribute to entry-to-practice programmes development at Counties Manukau Health.
