Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our South Canterbury team, delivering antenatal and postnatal physiotherapy and pelvic health in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Applicants must be NZ-registered with a current APC (or close to gaining one), with women’s health experience and a commitment to evidence-based practice. Multidisciplinary collaboration and a valid NZ driver’s licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Physiotherapist with NZ registration and current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) or near to gaining.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Strong communication skills with empathy.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Right now, we're inviting an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly team delivering services across the South Canterbury District.

In this role you will experience all aspects of physiotherapy and be part of an experienced and friendly team. Day to day work includes seeing patients for Antenatal and Post-natal Care as well as pelvic health within an inpatient and outpatient setting.

About You

In addition to being a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate, (or close to gaining this) you will need all round experience including Women's Health. Success in this role will also include your;

• Commitment to the principles of research and evidence-based practice
• Your communication skills combined with an empathetic nature
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and inter-professional setting team
• Have a New Zealand current Driver's Licence

Salary Range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the Allied Collective, and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale, and dependent on relevant experience.
