Job summary

Whanganui City College seeks a full-time Physical Education / Mathematics numeracy teacher for a fixed-term role starting on July 14, 2025. The successful candidate will cover a fixed-term internal promotion and is expected to teach health and physical education, alongside junior mathematics and/or Te reo Māori. Candidates who are certificated teachers with the ability to teach these subjects, particularly mathematics or Te reo Māori, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Specialist PE teacher required for Years 7–15.
• Ability to teach junior mathematics and/or Te reo Māori preferred.
• Must be a certificated teacher.

Responsibilities

• Teach Health and physical education to secondary students.

• Cover fixed-term role during internal promotion.
