Role Description

This is a temporary on-site role for a Pharmacist Locum located in Dunedin. The Pharmacist Locum will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing patient consultations, ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions, and offering pharmaceutical advice to customers. Additional duties include maintaining inventory, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and adhering to regulatory compliance. The role requires delivering excellent customer service and supporting the daily operational needs of the pharmacy.

Qualifications
  • Valid Pharmacist registration and practicing certificate in New Zealand
  • Experience in dispensing medication and providing patient consultations
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription handling
  • Experience in inventory management is a plus
