Job summary

TSB Wellington is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor to join our team. This permanent, full-time role places you at the heart of customer relationships, delivering banking solutions and exceptional service to help customers achieve their financial goals.

You will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, build long-term relationships, and support a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role requires a NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 and 1–2 years banking

We are looking for a Personal Banking Advisor to join our amazing TSB team! This is an exciting position with the opportunity to join a close team environment and build your career within a highly successful, growing, and ambitious organisation.

About the role

You'll be the first point of contact for all new and existing customers, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships. The role requires passion to deliver all customers with exceptional service, while being responsible for providing banking solutions and options to help customers achieve their financial goals. Having a continuous commitment towards putting the needs of our customers, the ability to use initiative and self-manage when required, will be critical to the success of this position.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Provide sound financial advice to help educate and engage with customers
• Create and develop long term relationships to support financial needs
• Identify and proactively report Conduct, Compliance and Operational Credit Risks

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5
• At least 1-2 years previous New Zealand banking/financial service experience.
• Enjoy connecting and engaging with people at a variety of levels, providing exceptional service.
