CORDE in Rolleston, Canterbury is seeking a skilled forklift operator for a stable, permanent role at our Resource Recovery Park. You will move cardboard and glass bins around site by forklift and support the team as a general labourer when not on the forklift.

You’ll follow safe work practices, complete daily checks, keep the site tidy, and participate in pre-starts and toolbox talks. We value reliability, safety and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver licence is required.
• Forklift endorsement and safe forklift operation required.
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently or with a team.
• Customer service experience is a bonus due to public contact.
• Physically fit, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Health and safety conscious with good common sense.

Responsabilités

• Completing daily vehicle and plant checks and inspection sheets.
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and free from litter.
• Ensuring gear is secured and locked away at the end of the day.
• Following safe work practices and taking part in pre-starts and toolbox talks.
