Job summary

Service Foods in Tauranga is seeking a dedicated Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our Tauranga branch, based in Tauriko. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to customers across Tauranga and Bay of Plenty, while upholding safety and customer service standards.

This is a safety‑sensitive, full‑time role with early starts, Monday to Saturday shifts, and rostered hours between 5:00 am and 3:00 pm, offering opportunities to build strong customer relationships and

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy abilities.
• Reliable, flexible, detail-focused approach to work.
• Clean driving record and clean criminal record.
• Previous New Zealand driving and delivery experience.
• Knowledge of Tauranga and Bay of Plenty is preferred.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 delivery trucks to transport goods.
• Load and unload products and transport securely.
• Deliver customer orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain delivery records and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the brand.
• Comply with road safety, transport, and traffic regulations.
• Report vehicle faults and refuel as needed.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Assist with picking and packing orders when required.
