Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Wairarapa in Masterton is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Practice Development Unit as a Nurse Educator. The role focuses on increasing knowledge, innovation and expertise across the nursing workforce through high-quality education and training support.

The position is 0.8 FTE (64 hours per fortnight) with days to be discussed with successful applicant, located at Wairarapa Hospital, reporting to the Practice Development Unit.

Qualifications

• Experienced Registered Nurse with leadership skills.
• Strong focus on a culture of continuous improvement and life-long learning.
• Background in education and/or Nurse Educator is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Increase knowledge, innovation and expertise across Te Whatu Ora Wairarapa's nursing workforce through high-quality education and training support.
• Provide education and training support to nursing staff within the Perioperative Service.
• Contribute to ensuring evidence-based best practice within the Practice Development Unit.
