Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a senior data leader to head the people data workstream within the Employee Experience programme. You will shape governance, quality, reporting and master data management, partnering with People & Capability, Payroll, IT and Finance to deliver trusted workforce insights that underpin strategic decisions.
You'll mentor the data capability, drive automation opportunities, and help scale adoption of analytics and AI across the organisation.

The Employee Experience (EEx) Programme is our co-op-wide reset of how our people and payroll experience works; simpler, smarter, and designed for the moments that matter. We're modernising systems and streamlining processes so it's easier for our teams across stores, Distribution Centres and Support Centre to get stuff done and focus on customers.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the people data workstream for one of Foodies' most significant people transformations. You'll help build the foundations for trusted, high-quality people data while shaping how workforce insights, reporting and governance support future business decisions.
Reporting to the Head of People Systems, you'll provide technical leadership across data governance, reporting, quality, insights and master data management. Working closely with People & Capability, Payroll, IT, Finance and programme teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our people data is accurate, trusted and positioned to support long-term business success. You'll also have a small team reporting into you.
You're passionate about turning data into meaningful insights and understand the role quality data plays in enabling great employee experiences. You enjoy solving complex problems, influencing stakeholders and bringing structure to large-scale transformation initiatives.
