Job summary

One New Zealand is seeking a People Support Specialist to play an important role in delivering a great people experience. You’ll be the trusted first contact for HR, payroll and people-related queries, ensuring accurate administration and data integrity across systems.

You’ll help run HR processes from start to finish, support remuneration and benefits, and look for smarter, more efficient ways to improve the employee experience and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR or People administration within a fast-paced or shared services environment.
• Good working knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation, HR policies and people processes.
• Previous payroll experience or understanding of NZ payroll processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be a go-to point of support for our people, providing fast, accurate and helpful answers across HR, payroll and travel queries.
• Support key HR processes and operational activities from start to finish.
• Keep people data accurate and reliable, maintain HR information and ensure systems have up-to-date data.
• Support reporting, data uploads and compliance activities, identifying issues and driving resolution.
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate across the People team and wider business to deliver a consistent, customer-focused service.
