Job summary

Zespri is seeking a meticulous People & Payroll Advisor to join the People Services team in Mount Maunganui on a 10 month fixed term contract. You will coordinate payroll with our external provider, manage data accuracy, and deliver clear reports for informed decision-making.

In a global People Services environment, you will champion digital-first support using PeopleService Now and build strong stakeholder relationships across regions as capacity allows.

Qualifications

• Strong payroll administration or coordination experience, including external payroll provider.
• Experience using an HRIS to maintain employee data, produce reports and support people processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse and present people data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll delivery through our external provider and resolve payroll queries.
• Maintain accurate and compliant people and payroll data across systems.
• Complete and validate employee data transactions and changes.
• Produce practical people reports and insights using SAP SuccessFactors, Excel and Power BI.
• Advocate for PeopleService Now to support consistent service delivery and employee self-service.
• Maintain process documentation and knowledge resources for digital-first support.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working across People Services.
• Contribute to wider People Team initiatives and transformation activities.
