Earth Sciences New Zealand is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to create a great employee experience. Hybrid role in Auckland with options at our Auckland CBD or Avalon (Lower Hutt) campus.

The role covers recruitment, onboarding, performance, remuneration and offboarding, with a focus on accurate documentation and timely workflows. We offer flexible options and generous leave, with an annual salary between NZ$70,000 and NZ$77,000.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, performance, remuneration and offboarding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate key stages of the employee lifecycle across recruitment, onboarding, performance, remuneration and offboarding.
• Prepare accurate employee documentation and manage workflows for timely communication with teams and stakeholders.
• Provide responsive, practical support to managers on people-related matters.
• Support annual people processes, reporting and policy/template improvements.
• Contribute to HR projects and transformation initiatives.
