Leading a team of six P&C Business Partners across Auckland, you’ll coach and build their capability to support the delivery of quality HR generalist partnering to their portfolios. While you’ll be comfortable in this coaching and mentoring role, you will also be hands on, partnering with leaders to provide advice and guidance around a broad range of complex employment relations and wider people and culture issues.

Together with your P&C leadership colleagues, you’ll be leading the implementation of change programmes in this complex and changing environment. You will also be involved in the development of P&C strategy, OD, remuneration and workforce planning. Playing an important role in union negotiations will also form part of your role.

Key to success in this role will be your significant experience leading people & culture teams, bringing them together and helping them reach their potential. A strong background in senior P&C generalist roles, where you’ve managed complex employment relations cases, is essential. You’ll also have expertise in building and maintaining strong union relationships. Leveraging your expert communication skills, you will pride yourself on your strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence change.
