Job description

We’re looking for a People and Culture Services Advisor to help us administer, coordinate and streamline our key administrative activities with a particular focus on payroll.

ABOUT THE ROLE – NGĀ ĀHUATANGA O TE TŪRANGA

As our People & Culture Services Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring payroll operations run smoothly and employee records are accurately maintained throughout the employment cycle. You’ll provide professional, trusted advice to managers and staff, ensuring best practice is adhered to organisation wide as it relates to relevant legislation and people policies.

The cadence of this role is guided by our payroll requirements and typically you will:

  • Coordinate and streamline people and culture administrative activities to boost efficiency.
  • Maintain employee records in our HRIS and document management systems.
  • Provide backup support for payroll services, answering queries and resolving issues.

  • Confidentiality & integrity – you handle sensitive employee information with complete discretion, ensuring privacy and compliance at all times.
  • Problem-solving mindset – you proactively find solutions to challenges, whether it’s a tricky payroll issue or refining processes for improved efficiency.
