Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team. You will manage weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls across NZ and Australia, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role requires at least 5 years of payroll experience, solid knowledge of NZ payroll legislation, and exposure to Australian payroll.

Qualifications

• 5+ years payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of NZ payroll legislation; exposure to Australian payroll is advantageous.
• A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or HR.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems (PayGlobal, SAP, HiBob) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for NZ and Australian teams.
• Manage payroll adjustments, tax and super contributions; maintain accurate employee records.
• Collaborate with Payroll Manager and People & Finance teams to ensure compliant, streamlined payroll processes.
