The role requires at least 2 years of payroll experience and strong Excel skills. You will be responsible for maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with payroll processes. Overview

The role

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the People & Culture team of a well-known, family owned business to take responsibility of their weekly payroll function of around 500 employees.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing & processing weekly payroll for around 500 employees
  • Maintaining and updating employee records
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and hold them accountable to ensure payroll process runs smoothly
  • Using HRIS & Payroll system whilst making sure any compliance & legal obligations are followed.
  • Support wider People & Culture team when needed and may have the opportunity to be involved with some project work.
What we need from you
  • 2 + years of previous payroll experience, ideally 200+ employees
  • Good Excel knowledge
  • Understanding of relevant legislation
  • Strong attention to detail with complete accuracy is a must.
  • Great open communications skills are vital - being able to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, often in different locations throughout the country is key to success.
  • Ability to handle the pressure of deadlines and being able to work autonomously.
