Job summary

Zespri International is seeking a meticulous People & Payroll Advisor to join the Mount Maunganui-based People Services team on a 10-month fixed-term contract. You will coordinate payroll with our external provider, manage data accuracy and reporting, and support employee lifecycle activities in a digital-first environment.

This role sits within a global People Services setup with potential regional support.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll coordination, ideally involving an external provider.
• Experience using an HRIS to maintain employee data, produce reports and support people processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse and present people data.
• Understanding of HR, payroll, employment, tax and privacy principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management.
• Collaborative and customer-focused approach to service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll delivery through external provider and resolve queries.
• Maintain accurate employee data across systems and ensure compliance.
• Process employee data transactions, uploads and changes.
• Produce reports and insights using SAP SuccessFactors, Excel and Power BI.
• Advocate for PeopleService Now to support self-service and consistency.
• Maintain process documentation and knowledge resources.
• Support transformation projects and broader People Services initiatives.
