Responsabilités

• Coordinate and maintain site Health & Safety documentation, records, and reporting.
• Support visitor, contractor, and employee compliance with site Health & Safety requirements.
• Assist with health and safety inductions, training records, certifications, and compliance administration.
• Maintain incident, hazard, near-miss, and corrective action records.
• Support Health & Safety audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and maintain employee and contractor compliance documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to site leadership and operations teams.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, data entry, and documentation as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and administrative process enhancements.

At Silver Fern Farms Kennington, we are looking for a motivated, organised, and customer-focused Payroll/ Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team.

You will play a vital role in keeping our site running smoothly through the delivery of health & safety coordination and payroll. You'll work closely with site leadership and operational teams, providing efficient administrative assistance while helping ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

This is a varied position suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Standard Monday – Friday hours with some flexibility e.g. 7am-4pm or 8am to 5pm etc.

Health & Safety Coordination & Administration

• Coordinate and maintain site Health & Safety documentation, records, and reporting.
• Support visitor, contractor, and employee compliance with site Health & Safety requirements.
• Assist with health and safety inductions, training records, certifications, and compliance administration.
• Maintain accurate incident, hazard, near-miss, and corrective action records.
• Support Health & Safety audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and maintain employee and contractor compliance documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to site leadership and operational teams.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, data entry, and documentation as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and administrative process enhancements.

Payroll & Employee Administration

• Process employee timesheets accurately and within payroll deadlines.
• Enter and maintain employee data within payroll and HR systems, including PayGlobal.
• Support payroll processing.
• Monitor attendance, absenteeism, leave, and workforce records.
• Maintain accurate employee files and personnel records in accordance with company and audit requirements.
• Process payroll-related documentation and employee record updates.
• Support onboarding administration, including employee setup and system access.
• Prepare workforce and payroll reports as required.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee and payroll information

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous Health and Safety/ Payroll experience
• Previous payroll experience or exposure to systems such as PayGlobal would be advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Good computer literacy and confidence learning new systems
• A customer-focused approach and positive attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of the primary industry or agricultural sector would be beneficial but not essential
