Job summary

AWF Group in Christchurch, New Zealand, is recruiting an experienced Foreperson to lead a surfacing crew on essential infrastructure projects. As Foreperson, you will manage daily surfacing operations on site, coordinate crews, scheduling, resources, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering on time and to a high standard.

You’ll collaborate with clients and subcontractors, driving productivity and team performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt surfacing or road maintenance.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on leadership approach.
• Commitment to health and safety best practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Class 2 License and WTR endorsement.
• Class 4 License advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site crews on surfacing operations.
• Plan and schedule daily workflow.
• Manage plant, materials, and resources on site.

About the Role

As Foreperson, you'll be responsible for leading daily surfacing operations, coordinating crews, managing resources, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

You'll be:

• Managing plant, materials, and resources
  
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards

What You’ll Bring
