A family-owned bakery in Blenheim, New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Pastry Baker. This role involves producing small-batch bakery items using various bases and fillings, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of baking experience and can work independently while effectively communicating with team members. The position will be available from October, offering a creative environment where individuals can thrive.
We are a small family owned bakery. The work is technical and production is based on small batches of many kinds, with seasonal variation. Some items run year-round while others follow the seasons, offering room for creative opportunities. We produce a broad selection of single-serving tarts and small treats, and the position will allow you to work with many different bases, fillings and flavor combinations. This can be an opportunity to upskill or to shine in a family environment where individuals matter. The position will be available from the beginning of October.
