Job summary

Eagers Automotive is looking for a motivated Parts Interpreter to join the Manukau AutoMall Parts team. You will interpret and process orders, promote parts and accessories, and liaise confidently with Wholesale, Retail, and internal customers in a professional manner.

This role suits someone with automotive parts knowledge and stock control experience, who can communicate clearly in English and thrive in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing a long-term career in automotive franchise parts.
• Experience using computerised stock control systems, including order processing and invoicing.
• Excellent English, both oral and written.
• Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment.
• 2 years' experience in a parts role preferred with strong automotive knowledge.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our Parts team at Manukau AutoMall.

Working with well-respected brands, the Parts Interpreter position requires automotive product knowledge to liaise confidently with Wholesale, Retail, and internal customers in a professional manner. You will be interpreting and processing orders, as well as actively promoting and selling parts and accessories.

Key responsibilities:

• Servicing the parts requirements of our busy workshop
• Interpreting and identifying automotive parts from various catalogues.
• Dealing with retail and Internal customers
• General warehouse duties and stock taking

To be considered for this position the ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• You will have a genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in automotive franchise parts and an interest in motor vehicles
• You will have experience using computerised stock control systems, including order processing and invoicing
• You will have excellent understanding of English, both oral and written and be able to confidently talk to customers
• You must be able to work in a busy and demanding environment
• 2 years' experience in a parts role is preferable and possess strong automotive mechanical knowledge
