Job summary

Springlands School seeks a qualified Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our Home-Based Early Learning Service as a Visiting Teacher. You will provide professional leadership and support to our in-home Educators/Nannies and Au Pairs, with flexible, varied workload.

The role starts part-time at 15 hours per week, with potential to grow as the network expands. Travel across Marlborough/Nelson regions to support the Educators and the team will be required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Early Childhood Education Teacher with current NZ Education Council practicing certificate.
• Experience mentoring and coaching adults.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under varying workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and support to home-based Educators/Nannies and Au Pairs.
• Travel within Marlborough/Nelson region to support Educators and the team.
• Assist with programme planning and documentation of learning stories.
