Job summary

Hato Hone St John is seeking a responsible store driver for the Ferry Road store in Christchurch. You will deliver pre-loved goods, support store activities and contribute to community initiatives.

The role is 30 hours per week, across five days, with daily shifts around six hours. You will ensure timely transport of stock between locations, maintain a tidy storeroom and van, and work with Store Managers to determine salable items and arrange repairs or disposal as required.

Qualifications

• A full, clean, New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Good level of physical fitness, able to lift/move furniture and boxes.
• Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills.
• Flexible and willing to do what is needed.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Move stock between locations to support store activities and sales.
• Keep storeroom and van clean and organised.
• Identify items unsuitable for sale in conjunction with Store Managers.
• Arrange repairs or disposal following responsible waste methods.
