Job summary

Fluid Recruitment is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer on a part-time basis in New Zealand. You will work closely with an Employment Partner, handling a diverse range of complex matters with significant autonomy and direct client exposure.

Responsibilities include advising on investigations, grievances, collective bargaining, OH&S, and privacy; representing clients in mediation and courts; and mentoring colleagues while developing the practice further.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' PQE in employment law.
• Experience across contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Ability to manage matters independently with sound commercial judgement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Advise on workplace investigations, disciplinary and performance matters.
• Provide strategic advice on collective bargaining, health and safety, privacy.
• Represent clients in mediation, Employment Relations Authority proceedings and Employment Court.
• Manage own files from start to finish and mentor other lawyers.
