Job description

We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Office Administrator to support our Christchurch office on a part-time basis (about 24 hours per week). This is a key role ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly and that our teams have the support they need to do their best work.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors, manage office systems and supplies, and assist with travel, events, and onboarding. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a helpful, approachable manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office & Facilities Management: Keep the office stocked and running efficiently and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and cleaners.
  • People & Team Support: Welcome visitors, support new hires with onboarding, and help organise team events and activities.
  • Travel & Logistics: Arrange travel, accommodation, and schedules for staff and visitors.
  • Administration & Systems: Assist with budgets, insurance paperwork, equipment tracking, and general record-keeping.
About You
  • Experience in administration, coordination, or office management.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable as the go-to person for a busy team.
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities and adapt when things change.
  • Confident with Office 365 and similar tools.
