Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Clinical Oncology/Haematology MOSAIQ Specialist to support the Southern region with MOSAIQ administration, configuration and training. This 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) permanent role offers pro-rata salary between NZ$120,000 and NZ$125,000 plus Kiwisaver.

You will work with medical oncology, haematology, radiation therapy, pharmacy and admin staff to optimise clinical workflows and patient care, delivering education and driving system improvements.

Qualifications

• Registered health professional with graduate and postgraduate qualification and current APC.
• Clinical experience in medical oncology, radiation oncology or haematology.
• Strong educator with presentation, training and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Interest in clinical systems and digital health; strong IT literacy.
• MOSAIQ experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Act as MOSAIQ system expert, providing clinical support and troubleshooting.
• Manage MOSAIQ configuration, upgrades, maintenance and optimisation.
• Develop chemotherapy care plans, prescribing workflows, safety alerts and clinical system functionality.
• Deliver training and ongoing support for staff using MOSAIQ.
• Collaborate with clinicians, pharmacists, physicists, radiation therapists and digital health teams on improvements.
• Champion best practice, quality improvement and safe electronic prescribing.
