sKids is hiring an Assistant Programme Manager in Wellington, New Zealand. You will support day-to-day operations, supervise groups of tamariki, and help plan activities from arts to trips. The role requires a minimum of 10 hours per week with shifts 7:00–8:30am and 2:30–6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You'll step in as 2IC when needed, supervise sessions, and contribute to a safe, engaging environment. This part-time role offers benefits and a supportive team, with a 50% discount on selected sKids

Qualifikationen

• Legal right to work in New Zealand (visa or citizenship).
• Reliable transport to Thordon site(s).
• Experience working with groups of children (e.g., OSCAR, childcare, coaching).
• Ability to step into leadership when needed and take initiative.

Aufgaben

• Support the Programme Manager in day-to-day running of the sKids programme.
• Step up as 2IC – lead sessions when the Programme Manager is away.
• Supervise large groups of tamariki and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Plan and deliver structured activities (arts, crafts, sports, games, trips).
• Assist with managing behaviour using positive guidance strategies.
