Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking a proactive Hospitality Technician to support the delivery of our hospitality programmes at the Queenstown Campus on a 0.5 FTE basis (20 hours per week).

In this hands-on role, you will purchase and prepare resources for practical classes, maintain equipment and supplies, assist with budgeting and financial processes, and ensure facilities are well maintained and compliant with food safety and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality operations or a related environment.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Good communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Sound computer skills and attention to detail.
• An understanding of food safety and health and safety requirements.
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités
