Job summary

Presbyterian Support Central (PSC) through Enliven is seeking a Part Time Health Care Assistant for Chalmers Home in New Plymouth, Taranaki. You will provide daily living support to Elders, with fixed rosters that include regular weekend work. Flex casual shifts are also available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Health Care Assistant
• Hold Health & Wellbeing Certificate Level 2 or currently working towards it
• Good verbal communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living and care support to Elders
• Encourage independence and resident-led decision making
• Deliver high-quality, individualized support
• Follow health and safety practices and procedures
• Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse team
• Ensure resident needs are met effectively and promptly
