Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced EHS Officer to join their Auckland team on a part-time basis (3 days a week). This role offers the opportunity to support the NZ business while developing skills in health and safety systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy manufacturing, a Degree (preferred) in Quality Assurance, and certifications in workplace health and safety. The position includes conducting audits, statistical reporting, and compliance management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Preferred experience in incident investigation qualification.
• Strong skills in health, safety, welfare, environmental issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain JCI Integrated Business Management Systems (EHSQ).
• Conduct onsite audits and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and perform risk assessments.
