Job summary

Task Lighting in Auckland is seeking a part-time warehouse team member to pick, pack and dispatch lighting products. You will join a small team and handle pallets by hand, with forklift experience required. 20-25 hours per week, weekdays only, paid hourly with discretionary bonuses.

You will be responsible for wrapping, packing, stocktaking, keeping the warehouse clean and safe, and communicating clearly with the team. Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented candidates will thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience handling outward goods including wrapping and packing pallets.
• Ability to perform stocktakes and maintain accurate counts.
• Forklift experience is required for dispatch tasks.
• Physically able to lift up to 25 kg and handle long items by hand.
• Strong attention to detail to keep the warehouse clean and safe.
• Clear communication and good teamwork in a small team.
• Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance.

Job description

Task Lighting is looking for a additional part time warehouse team member responsible for picking, packing and dispatching our range of Lighting product. Working in a team of three forklift experience is necessary. The product is typically long lengths but is easy to handle with packages of no more than 25kg being managed by hand.

We are flexible on hours with a total of 20-25 hours per week desired. We only work weekdays and pay an hourly rate plus discretionary bonuses.

The job requires.

• Outwards goods experience (Wrapping/ Packing Pallets)
• Stocktake Experience
• Physically Fit (Able to lift up to 25kgs)
• Have a good attention to detail (Ensuring the warehouse environment remains clean, tidy, and safe)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliability and punctuality (Strong attention to detail)

Key Performance Indicators

• Ensure all errors in inventory are notified to the Factory Manager.
• Achieve 90% minimum correct dispatch, to be measured by returns for incorrect item supplied.
• Enter completed packing slips for invoicing.
• Through efficient purchasing and use deliver packaging costs under budget.
