Oceania Healthcare Ltd in Hawke's Bay is seeking a passionate part-time Chef/Cook to support our four Oceania sites across the region. You’ll provide cover and support when needed, rotating across villages to create enjoyable dining experiences for residents.

Working with experienced teams, you’ll bring creativity and high standards to every meal, adapt to different kitchens, and continue to learn and grow in a supportive retirement living environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook is preferred.
• Safe Food NZQA certificates (167, 168, 20666 or 27955) or willingness to obtain them.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full New Zealand working rights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals residents enjoy.
• Bring creativity and pride to every dish.
• Provide excellent service and dining experiences.
• Support kitchen operations while maintaining food safety standards across sites.
• Collaborate with kitchen teams across Hawke's Bay sites.
• Adapt to different environments and rostered shifts across weekends/mornings/evenings.
• Continue to learn and develop culinary skills.
