Job summary

Kidz First Child Development Team (CDT) in South Auckland is seeking a part-time Speech Language Therapist (0.4FTE) to support babies aged 0–3 years with feeding and communication needs. You will work within a community-based MDT, with opportunities for videofluoroscopic swallow studies and telehealth.

Qualifications

Registration with the New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists Association and current APCA membership.
Passion for working with tamariki and advocating for their needs.
Excellent communication and cultural responsiveness.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care for children 0–3 years with feeding, swallowing and communication needs.
Support with videofluoroscopic swallow studies alongside team members.
Work in a multi-disciplinary setting with paediatricians and psychologists.
Deliver services flexibly (face-to-face, telehealth, group sessions).
Collaborate with wha-nau and other health care providers to improve outcomes.
