Job summary

Whangārei Hospital in Northland is seeking a paediatric registrar for a 24-month training run, including rural, general paediatrics and community/developmental rotations. This fulltime role commences February 2027 and is RACP-accredited.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of experience as a House Officer in paediatrics.
• Hold or be eligible for general scope registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Willingness to work in partnership with whānau and Māori communities, embracing Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Responsibilities

• Paediatric registrar with rotations in rural, general paediatrics and community/developmental runs.
• Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams in a learning environment.
