Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Nelson Marlborough, Wairau Hospital invites applications for a Paediatric Physiotherapist within the Child Development Service. The role is part-time (0.6 FTE), based across clinics, homes, early childhood centres and schools to support tamariki and whānau.

You will deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions, promoting participation, independence and wellbeing in partnership with families and a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Experience working with children and young people, paediatric or community setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy services to promote participation, independence and wellbeing for children.
• Work across settings including clinics, homes, early childhood centres and schools.
• Provide evidence-based assessment and intervention tailored to each child's goals.
