Job summary

Danone ANZ is seeking a Packaging Technologist in Auckland on an 8-month fixed-term contract. You will drive packaging development projects end to end, from brief through to line implementation, partnering with cross-functional teams across Specialised Nutrition.

You will lead packaging workstreams, deliver improvements, ensure compliance and promote sustainability. Expect travel ~10% and a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have packaging development experience in R&D or operations.
• Strong project management skills with rigour and delivery standards.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisation, with flexibility to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging development projects end to end from brief to line implementation.
• Deliver pack improvement, productivity, compliance and secure supply projects with cross-functional teams.
• Bring sustainability and quality mindset to packaging projects.
• Coordinate trials, interpret results and compile technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with global and local packaging standards, tools and procedures.
• Manage project risks and support cross-functional problem solving on packaging matters.
• Spot innovation opportunities and share best practices across ANZ, suppliers and partners.
