Job summary

Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand is seeking Registered Nurses for the Oncology/Haematology Outpatient Service. This permanent role is 0.8–1.0 FTE (64–80 hours per fortnight) with a pro rata salary between 83,725 and 109,407 p.a., plus Kiwisaver.

The role involves caring for medical oncology, radiation oncology and haematology patients receiving chemotherapy, supportive therapies or radiation. Key tasks include chemotherapy administration, symptom control, psychosocial support and radiation

Qualifications

• Ideally have or be working towards current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council.
• Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
• The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
• Previous acute Oncology/Haematology experience.
