Kapiti College is seeking a dynamic outdoor education teacher to join our team. Located on the stunning Kapiti Coast, our college is vibrant and high-performing, guided by our Parihaka Mai Ai values, which promote respect, equality, resilience, and unity. Our Outdoor Education programme has become highly popular, with strong student engagement from Y9 to Y13. We are looking for an inspiring teacher to help our students connect with Te Taiao and develop adventure-based learning (ABL) activities such as tramping, kayaking, climbing, and survival skills. Outdoor-specific qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
For the right candidate, leadership opportunities will be available within this growing curriculum area, paving the way for middle management units or allowances.
