Job summary

Jodie Inc. is launching in New Zealand with an outbound B2B sales role focused on turning conversations into opportunities.

You will research target businesses, conduct thoughtful outreach, and qualify problems, buying processes and timing before booking product conversations. Based in New Zealand, you will own a local prospect pipeline, listen to early customer needs and design onboarding and support as the market opens.

Jodie AI is a UK company building an AI receptionist for busy businesses. Jodie answers calls, captures the important details and helps owners get back to customers, even when they can’t pick up themselves.

Help prepare our New Zealand launch. Build the local prospect pipeline, listen to early customer needs and create a thoughtful onboarding and support experience as the market opens.

What you'll own
  • Research target businesses and run thoughtful outbound calls, emails and follow-ups.
  • Qualify the problem, buying process and timing before booking a useful product conversation.
  • Run clear demonstrations and work with account managers to move suitable opportunities forward.
  • Keep the CRM current, test messages and improve qualified pipeline rather than chasing activity for its own sake.

Your first 90 days

A starting point we'll shape together, with clear priorities and support.

  • By day 30

    Learn the customer problems, product demonstration and qualification criteria.

  • By day 60

    Own a prospecting segment and a consistent cadence, with coaching on real conversations.

  • By day 90

    Build a repeatable flow of qualified opportunities and show which messages convert into revenue.

Where and when you'll work

Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Based in New Zealand, working local business hours aligned to Auckland. Your exact schedule is agreed before offer.

You'll need to be based in one of the listed countries. We'll confirm the employingarrangement, local benefits and any location restrictions with you before moving toan offer.

What you'll earn

Annual base salary, before tax

NZ$145k - NZ$180k NZD

Total annual on-target earnings (base + commission)

Where you sit in the range reflects the scope you can own and the relevant skills youbring. We discuss this early, using the published band rather than your previous salary.

On-target earnings (OTE) are total earnings at 100% of target, not guaranteed pay. We explain targets, ramp-up, commission rates and payment timing before you acceptan offer.

All figures are in New Zealand dollars. Applicable employer KiwiSaver contributionsare paid in addition to the advertised salary.
