Job summary

Phil Murfitt Orthodontics in Merivale, Christchurch, NZ, seeks a fully qualified orthodontic auxiliary or hygienist with orthodontic experience to join our small team and deliver high-quality orthodontic care.

The role primarily bases at our Merivale practice, with potential travel to Rolleston and Rangiora. Hours are negotiable; typical pattern is 7:30am–5pm Mon, Tue, Thu, 7:30am–2pm Fri, with possible Wednesdays off. Start mid-February 2027.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified orthodontic auxiliary or hygienist with orthodontic experience.
• Experience delivering orthodontic treatment is required.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver all forms of orthodontic treatment, including conventional braces and clear aligners.
• Travel to Rolleston and Rangiora branch practices as required.

An opportunity has opened to join our team and become a key player in a small team, helping us to deliver high-quality orthodontic treatment.

The position is ideally suited to a fully qualified orthodontic auxiliary or hygienist with orthodontic experience.

You will help Phil deliver all forms of orthodontic treatment, including conventional braces and clear aligners.

The position is primarily based at our Merivale practice, but you may be required to travel to our Rolleston and Rangiora branch practices.

Hours of work are negotiable for the right applicant, but ideally the hours will be 7:30am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. On Friday 7:30am to 2pm. There is the potential to have Wednesday’s off. The anticipated start date is mid -February 2027.
