Job summary

Seeka Limited is seeking an Orchard Supervisor to lead picking, pruning and orchard teams in Kerikeri. This hands-on role involves organizing work programmes, coaching staff and ensuring safety and productivity on farm.

You will work closely with the Orchard Manager to plan activities, develop team skills and meet seasonal demands in a supportive NZ business. A full driver’s licence and willingness to work variable hours are required.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours to cover seasonal operations and peak times.
• Experience or familiarity with kiwifruit, horticulture or primary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate picking, pruning and orchard teams to deliver work safely and efficiently.
• Oversee all orchard activities to ensure best practice and optimum production.
• Support daily liaison with the Orchard Manager to maintain workflow continuity.
• Coach and develop team members in vineyard tasks and general orchard duties.

Working closely with the Orchard Manager, you'll help plan,organise and communicate orchard work programmes, while training andsupervising orchard teams to meet seasonal demands.

What you'll be doing

• Support the continuity of orchard workflowsthrough daily liaison with the Orchard Manager
