Job summary

Mr Apple is seeking an Orchard Foreman in Hawke's Bay to lead daily orchard operations and drive quality in premium apple production. You’ll work hands-on with experienced professionals, coordinating tasks and guiding a high-performing team in a collaborative environment.

You will implement husbandry programmes, ensure compliance with legislation, and foster health and safety while seeking continuous improvements in efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in large-scale horticulture and orchard operations
• Confident in coaching and supervising team members
• Strong knowledge of orchard technologies and systems
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
• Familiarity with machine operation and maintenance
• Knowledge of pest control, disease management, and chemical use
