Overview

Specsavers has a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Optometrist to join as a Joint Venture Partner across two well-established stores in Tauranga, New Zealand, supported by a large and loyal customer base.

Located in the Bay of Plenty region, Tauranga is a vibrant coastal city renowned for its stunning beaches and warm climate. Living in Tauranga will allow you to immerse yourself in an outdoor lifestyle with around 260 kilometres of pristine coastline, including the famous surf and holiday spots of Mount Maunganui and Papamoa. The city is filled with trendy cafes, restaurants, and bars, giving you the perfect mix of outdoor and indoor lifestyles.

Specsavers Tauranga is located on Devonport Road, a prominent street known for its vibrant atmosphere and wide variety of shopping and dining experiences. The store itself is 236sqm in size with 3 Optical test rooms, a dedicated Audiology room and 7 dispense desks.

Due to business growth, a second store, Specsavers Tauranga Crossing, was opened in 2019. The store is 144sqm in size, with 2 Optical test rooms, 1 dual-use room, and 5 dispense desks. Both stores boast state-of-the-art equipment including OCT, and house 1000+ frames on display.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced optometrist who understands what it takes to lead and motivate a team. You will have a passion for delivering high-quality clinical care and customer service.
