Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Ophthalmology team at Wellington Hospital, with a 0.5 FTE rostered and rotating contract. The role provides care across ophthalmic conditions and supports nurse-led clinics, diagnostics and clinicians in delivering specialist treatments.

You will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team across Wellington Hospital, with potential duties across Kenepuru and Hutt sites.

Competenze

• Experience in ophthalmology
• Strong cultural competence including Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Ability to work with patients with acute & complex needs
• Intravitreal injection experience
• RN APC current registration or eligible

Mansioni

• Provide patient care across ophthalmic conditions and procedures
• Support nurse-led clinics and diagnostic clinics
• Assist clinicians in delivering specialised ophthalmic treatments
