Are you ready to take your career to the next level? The Higgins team in Palmerston North is looking for a talented and experienced Milling Operator to join our dynamic Surfacing Division. If you\'re passionate about road construction and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Operate milling machines and related equipment ( rollers, pavers, trucks ) as part of a surfacing crew.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in surfacing is essential. You’ll be operating a range of equipment, including milling machines, rollers, pavers, and trucks.
• A minimum of a full Class 2 license with WTR endorsements, and experience with asphalt rollers/pavers and milling machinery.
• This is a hands-on role, so a high level of physical fitness is required.
• The ability to work nights when required.
• A strong focus on health and safety for yourself, your colleagues, and the public.
• Self-motivated, reliable, honest, and a true team player.
