We are seeking an Operator/Labourer to join our dedicated team at Te Anau Earthworks Ltd in Te Anau, Southland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for operating various construction equipment and assisting with a range of hands‑on labouring tasks. Your role will be crucial in supporting the successful delivery of our earthworks and construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Operating a range of excavators
• Operate power tools and small machines (such as compactors, breakers and saws) in a safe and appropriate manner
• Performing general labouring duties including site preparation, landscaping, and material handling
• Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of construction equipment
• Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, meeting health & safety regulations
• Collaborating with the wider team to complete projects on time and to a high standard
• Completing daily timesheets
