Job summary

Tenzing Limited is seeking an experienced OpenText Technical Consultant in Auckland to lead ECM implementations, administer and develop on the OpenText Content Server suite, and integrate with SAP and Microsoft 365. You will work independently and with agile teams to deliver client-focused solutions and data-driven transformations.

The role requires hands-on scripting with OScript, workflow design, and strong communication skills to navigate complex projects and ambiguity.

Qualifications

OpenText Content Server administration and development experience.
Exposure to OpenText Archive Center and Extended ECM for SAP/M365.
OScript and web report development experience.
Programming experience in .NET, C# or Java.
Workflow design and development experience.
Strong written and spoken English language skills.
Experience with agile implementations.

Responsibilities

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced OpenText Technical Consultant to join our team in Auckland, bringing expertise in enterprise content management and systems transformation. In this role, you’ll work on large-scale ECM implementations, leveraging your deep knowledge of the OpenText Content Server suite and related technologies.

You’ll be hands‑on with development and administration tasks, including scripting with OScript, workflow design, and integration with platforms like SAP and Microsoft 365. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, communicate clearly, and deliver client‑focused solutions will be key to your success. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives in Agile environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and is confident working independently and collaboratively.

This role sits within our Information Services practice - one of four key areas at Tenzing, alongside Technology Services, Management Consulting, and Managed Services. The Information Services team partners with clients to deliver all things data including data science, data warehousing, and data migrations. We use proven methodologies along with industry leading technology (like Snowflake!) to create scalable and sustainable data solutions tailored to our customer’s needs.

What you bring

You'll have OpenText certification and consulting experience with large ECM implementations with proven ability in:

administration and development with OpenText Content Server suite products
exposure to OpenText Archive Center, Extended ECM for SAP, Extended ECM for M365 etc.
O’script and web report development
programming experience with .Net, C# or Java
workflow design and development
documentation, with good written and spoken English language skills
agile systems implementations
