Job summary

Taylors Auckland is seeking an Onsite Linen Coordinator at Auckland Hospital to ensure linen is delivered to linen cupboards across the hospital.

You will join a small team, log linen amounts, place stock orders, and follow safe work procedures. The role requires fitness for lifting, flexibility in rosters, and commitment to a safe, inclusive culture. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry linen bundles to fill trolleys or shelves.
• Use trolleys to transport stock throughout the hospital.
• Visually check product for quality.
• Count bundled linen into linen cupboards to match orders.
• Complete manual and computer picking dockets.
• Log linen amounts and place orders on a tablet.
• Follow safe work procedures.
• Collect soiled linen.
• Count stock in the linen room at end of shift to place orders from stock with laundry.

ONSITE LINEN COORDINATOR based at AUCKLAND HOSPITAL

As a Linen Coordinator with Taylors Auckland, you will work as part of a small tight knit team to ensure that Auckland hospital has all the clean linen they require, so that they can care for the sick and injured.

Taylors is one of the largest textiles management and laundry operators in Australasia. Our Laundry manages the textile and laundry requirements of customers in the healthcare, accommodation, and hospitality sectors.

Duties

As a Linen Coordinator, you will ensure the linen is delivered throughout the hospital to various linen cupboards.

This will involve (but not be limited to) completing duties such as:

• Carrying linen bundles to fill trolleys or shelves


• Using trolleys to transport stock throughout the hospital


• Visually checking product for quality


• Counting bundled linen into linen cupboards to match orders


• Completing manual and computer picking dockets


• Use of a tablet to log linen amounts and place orders


• Following safe work procedures


• Collection of soiled linen


• Counting the stock in the linen room at end of shift to place orders from stock with laundry

Skills / experience
