Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a motivated on-site Hospital Service Delivery Person to support Dunedin Hospital with textiles and uniforms. This is more than a delivery role: you will be the key link between the hospital and the Alsco plant, working on-site in a hospital environment and building strong relationships with staff.

Hours: Monday to Friday (04:00am - 12:30pm). Full training is provided and pre-employment checks apply. Prior delivery or customer service experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, honest and committed to high standards.
• Able to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on role.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Delivery or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and managing textiles and uniforms throughout Dunedin Hospital.
• Maintaining a strict delivery schedule and ensuring service commitments are met daily.
• Building strong relationships with hospital staff.
• Acting as the communication link between hospital and production plant.
• Supporting the new outpatient building service rollout.
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving requests promptly.
• Identifying upselling opportunities and contributing to growth.

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a motivated and customer-focused On-Site Hospital Service Delivery Person to play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Dunedin Hospital. This is more than a delivery role. As the key link between Dunedin Hospital and the Alsco Uniforms plant, you will ensure the timely delivery and management of textiles and uniforms that are critical to healthcare operations. You will be based on-site within the hospital environment, building strong relationships with hospital staff while delivering the exceptional service Alsco Uniforms is known for.

You're a self-motivated and organised individual who can work independently and manage your time effectively. Reliable and customer-focused, you'll build strong relationships, deliver exceptional service, and take pride in representing the Alsco Uniforms brand professionally. You'll also be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and grow the business, while being physically fit and capable of undertaking some heavy lifting when required.

Full training is provided, and all successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks.
