Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is recruiting a Health and Physical Education teacher to deliver live online lessons for Years 9-12 in New Zealand. You’ll design personalised learning experiences and build strong relationships within a supportive virtual community.

Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand, collaborating with a high-caliber team of educators to advance the curriculum and support student wellbeing and achievement across the country.

Qualifications

• NZ Teaching Registration is required.
• Teaching qualification with subject expertise is required.
• Strong knowledge of the NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3).
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live online Health and PE lessons.
• Design personalised learning experiences.
• Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment.
• Collaborate with a high-calibre team of educators.
• Support student progress through differentiated instruction.
• Provide meaningful formative assessment with feedback, feed-forward, and summative assessment.
• Contribute to the curriculum team's functioning and growth.
• Develop partnerships with parents/caregivers to support learning.
